Uniquely Noah’s

Noah’s Ark is New Zealand’s only animal themed hostel, but that’s not all..

With spacious, animal-themed single, twin, double, and dormitory rooms, as well as tent sites, this converted presbytery offers the perfect accommodation for a wide range of travelers, including backpackers, families, couples, sports teams, schools, and other educational or social groups.

Enjoy our extensive garden area with a BBQ at the back of the property, and relax on the balcony that captures stunning West Coast sunsets on the first floor. Guests can also unwind in comfortable lounges, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen.

We provide laundry facilities, secure bike storage, and a couple of bikes available for free to explore the town and nearby walking trails.

There’s an abundance of cafés, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, along with galleries, a movie theater, a post office, and a pharmacy—all just a short walk away.
