Uniquely Noah’s

Noah’s Ark is New Zealand’s only animal themed hostel, but that’s not all..

With spacious, animal themed single, twin, double & shared rooms, dormitories and tent sites, this converted monastery is the ideal accommodation for a range of travellers including backpackers, families, couples, sports teams, schools or other educational & social groups.

We have an extensive garden area with picnic tables, BBQ and wrap around verandahs that catch the iconic west coast sunsets. There are also comfortable lounges, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and full laundry facilities.

We have secure lock up facilities for bikes and have bikes available for hire so you can explore the town.

There’s an abundance of cafés, bars, restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well as galleries, a movie theatre, a Post Office and pharmarcy all close by.
